Five drawings were created using a 1891 Hall Braille Typewriter, where rhythmic patterns emerged from the mechanical manipulation of its six keys. These patterns were recorded onto 7” vinyl records, each featuring the sound of the printing process that produced its cover. This approach reverses the usual process, as the sound of the printer is replayed alongside the drawings, transforming them into visual scores. This inversion blurs the line between creation and interpretation, making it unclear whether the drawings write the sound or the sound defines the drawings.
